Present day tract housing uses prefabricated wood trusses to achieve open plan living and ease of construction. These sketches explore using a low pitched scissor truss to create an oversized sheltering googie inspired residence. A lot of what I would like to do is to explore domestic designs using a classic googie/jetsons/flintstones mid century vocabulary.
